Special Thanks!
There have been a lot of people who have gotten me to this point in my life and a lot of people who will continue to support me throughout my future. I would like to thank:
- My friends for always keeping my spirits up and my days bright. Without their daily encouragement and love, surely my time at Notre Dame would not have been nearly as unforgettable.
- The ISSLP program for awarding me the opportunity to have the summer of a lifetime. Truly, it was an experience that has most certainly changed my outlook on the world as well as the rest of my life.
- The Kellogg program for directing me in my specific placement at Uganda Martyrs University. Through my research on the value chain of matoke, I gained a lifetime of knowledge and experience related to Uganda in only a few short months.
- Finally, I would like to thank my wonderful amazing family who has molded me into the crazy, goofy person that I am today. Throughout my life, they have taught me so many things: how to ride a bike, that I should always be patient and understanding with others and that just because my brother and sister say, "There's a bee in your pants!" doesn't mean that I have to strip down and run around crying, "There's a bee in my pants!!!" Ok, so there are some things that I would rather forget, but it is these absurd memories and crazy experiences that have molded me into the goofy guy who can cope with eating matoke every day for 2 months, even though it's terrible. For making me the guy I am today, I thank my family whom I love so incredibly much!
